The Mustard Oil is pressed the traditional way — a wooden kolhu turning slowly, keeping the seed below 40°C, with no chemical solvents or deodorising — so what you receive every month is the same sharp, pungent oil, batch after batch, rather than a product that varies depending on which refinery it passed through. The Jaggery Powder is made from slow-reduced sugarcane juice, ground fine, with none of the bleaching that refined sugar undergoes, and it works as a direct substitute for sugar in tea, cooking, and desserts.
The Rock Salt is minimally processed and retains trace minerals lost in heavily refined table salt. This subscription exists for customers who’ve already ordered from us once or twice and know these three items are ones they’ll keep needing — it removes the manual reordering step entirely, locks in consistent monthly delivery, and typically works out to a better price than placing the same three items as separate one-off orders each month. It’s less a “combo” in the traditional sense and more a standing arrangement for a kitchen that doesn’t want to think about its basics running low.
